Garden conservation planning services are increasingly in demand. However, regulations on a minimum standard of objectives have been lacking up to now. As a result, task descriptions and services have so far been formulated and applied in a markedly diverse manner. In cooperation with the Association of German Landscape Architects (Bund Deutscher Landschaftsarchitekten), the German Foundation for the Protection of Monuments (Deutsche Stiftung Denkmalschutz) designed this seminar, which presents the development of garden monument preservation objectives and current recommendations for requirements. Among other things, the required studies and documents will be dealt with using practical examples, and the current state of discussion on the methodology and standardization of planning services for the preservation of historic gardens will be presented. The seminar addresses itself to landscape architect:inside; Monument protection authorities, nature protection authorities, owners monument-protected garden plants etc.
