Every two years, the FLL organizes the Landscape Research Forum, a symposium designed as a platform to promote scientific exchange in the green sector. The 9th Landscape Research Forum will take place on March 13 and 14, 2025 at the former garden show grounds in egapark in Erfurt. The main topic of the symposium is the question "Quo vadis - What partnerships will the green of the future need?".

The format has been offered every two years since 2008 and combines research and practice. The last Landscape Research Forum took place in Berlin in March 2023 and was a complete success with over 160 participants.
