The bdla has set up nationwide committees to discuss important topics.
They are dedicated to the topics of training, construction technology and standards, garden monument preservation, international affairs, landscape planning, public relations, economics, urban development, open space planning and competition.
The bdla regional associations delegate members from their ranks to these committees. The committees are made up of experts in their respective fields and play an important role in communication between the members and in dealing with special topics. Committees are therefore permanent centres of competence which complement the work of the Executive Committee and the Speakers or work in cooperation with them. In addition, there are a number of topic-specific ad-hoc working groups.
