In times of advancing climate change and species extinction, a lack of living space and dilapidated transport infrastructure, voices are getting louder calling for faster action. Fast action also means fast planning and fast approval. What does this mean for landscape architects? Have we not done everything right in planning so far and is it just a problem of implementation? Isn't there also a danger that we will lose sight of the goal of social transformation due to all the acceleration?
