The seminar gives employees of planning offices and local authorities who are converting, planning, implementing or responsible for playgrounds an insight into which safety-related issues must be taken into account in accordance with DIN 18034. DIN EN 1176 applies to the playground equipment itself - but the issues surrounding it also need to be taken into account: From the entrance to the fencing, from the water quality from water playgrounds to poisonous plants, from the size of the area to the layout of the play areas and accessibility! All of these issues are covered in the seminar and, at the end, provide participants with an overview of what else needs to be considered in terms of safety when planning and building play areas. The seminar is recognized as advanced training for landscape architects by the AKNW. The speaker is Dipl.-Ing. Friedrich Blume, expert for playgrounds.
