Introduction

The Green Department at the Environment Agency is a service provider for nature and the landscape, for urban green spaces, but above all for people. Climate change presents us with new challenges. To this end, we are working on a viable and liveable environment in the urban and landscape environment, for which we need future-oriented green strategies. Transparency and effectiveness are at the forefront of this.



Your main tasks

- Development and implementation of urban development goals and city-wide strategies for open space and open space development, including

- Formulation of planning content and qualities

- Processing the integrating green and open space concept

- Preparation of technical reports and plans, participation in working groups, public participation, planning workshops

- Collaboration on FNP and B plans



- Coordination and handling of cross-city and regional green and open space issues, among others

- Project preparation and project implementation of various planning projects with urban development significance

- Awarding, coordination, management and monitoring of externally commissioned planning offices, experts, etc. through to the settlement of funding

- Negotiations and correspondence with planning participants and other third parties



- Preparation of documents for political committees and participation in meetings, public relations work



Your professional skills

- A university degree (Master's or Diploma (Univ.)) in the fields of landscape conservation, open space planning, landscape architecture or

- a university degree (Master's or Diploma (Univ.)) in spatial planning or geography with a corresponding focus with regard to the area of responsibility of the position or

- Applicants with equivalent skills and experience

- and at least 4 years of subsequent professional experience in open space and open space development as well as in strategic planning and urban land use planning



Your personal skills

- Good knowledge of planning law

- strong communication skills, ability to work under pressure, organizational and negotiating skills as well as persuasiveness in dealing with internal and external stakeholders

- High degree of independence, initiative and willingness to take responsibility

- Ability to work in a team, deal with conflict and cooperate

- Driving license class B and willingness to drive a company vehicle

- Job level: EG 13 TVöD The consideration of professional experience relevant to the step duration will be decided on an individual basis
