The city of Detmold attaches great importance to high-quality green and open spaces. That is why we maintain and care for our historic parks, develop new green connections, create a quality of stay and improve play and exercise facilities in schoolyards, playgrounds and sports facilities. Our "Environmental Protection and Open Space Planning" team, which currently consists of eight employees, needs your support for these diverse tasks.

Your main tasks are

▪ Taking responsibility: You will be responsible for object and open space planning, in particular for service phases 6-9 (tendering, awarding and construction management, documentation). You will be responsible for the renovation and new construction of our outdoor facilities
.


▪ Bills of quantities and awarding contracts: the production of bills of quantities is just as much a part of your other tasks as participation in the awarding of contracts.



▪ Independent construction supervision: you are responsible for your projects and coordinate all project participants on site as a contact person.




▪ Project planning: You create the construction schedule and the award schedule and ensure seamless tracking.



▪ Quality and cost control: You carry out quality, schedule and cost control and are responsible for measurement, invoicing and verification.







You bring with you

▪ a successfully completed degree in landscape architecture, landscaping or a comparable field of study that is suitable for the tasks

▪ Thorough knowledge of public and private construction law (VOB, HOAI etc.)

▪ Strong organizational skills and you keep a clear head and good mood even in stressful work phases

▪ Communication and conflict resolution skills combined with negotiation skills

▪ Ability to make decisions and assert yourself, also when dealing with construction companies and other stakeholders

▪ Flexibility and ability to work in a team

▪ Good knowledge of standard PC software (MS Office), CAD, AVA

▪ Willingness and ability to attend on-site appointments, even in difficult terrain, in road traffic and on construction sites

Desirable are

▪ If possible, several years of professional experience in work phases 6 - 9 in accordance with Annex 11 to Section 39 HOAI (tendering, awarding, construction management)

▪ Experience in IT-supported awarding and accounting
