For our Environmental Planning department in Kiel, we are looking for young professionals and environmental planners with curiosity, team spirit and commitment.

What range of tasks awaits you?
You will work in a team on the environmental support of projects, e.g. in the field of electricity grid expansion, wind power planning or PV area planning or accompany municipalities in urban land use planning.

Your tasks will include surveying the terrain, preparing environmental reports, presenting planning results to clients, authorities and the public and creating and editing maps with ArcGIS and QGIS.

What you should bring with you:

 A degree in landscape planning or comparable sciences (environmental planning, biology, geography, landscape ecology, etc.)

 Knowledge in the recording of biotope types or in methods of faunistic surveys (birds, bats, amphibians)

 Sense of responsibility, ability to work in a team

 Curiosity, openness and a willingness to learn

 Basic knowledge of relevant regulations and guidelines of nature conservation and environmental law (the dry part)

 Basic knowledge of ArcGIS or QGIS

 If German is not your native language: language certificate C1
