Working hours: part-time (25.35 hours/week)

Payment: EG 13 TVöD

(Gross) salary: € 3,008.69 to € 4,313.04 (depending on professional experience)

Monthly salary: 12.5178 (incl. annual special payment)

We make our city green, diverse and worth living in! As part of a team, you will work on landscape planning projects at all planning levels that serve to preserve the existing green areas and further develop the green and open spaces in the science and world heritage city of Darmstadt.



Your tasks:



The vacant position coordinates and supports all projects in the field of landscape planning at different landscape planning scales.

- Preparation and updating of the landscape plan for the entire city

- Preparation of environmental reports for land use plan amendments

- Preparation of landscape plans (green structure plans) and environmental reports, impact and compensation balances for development plans

- Preparation of strategic and project-related environmental impact assessments and landscape conservation plans as part of planning approvals and planning approval procedures

- Processing of landscape ecology and species protection reports in accordance with the Habitats Directive, collection of basic environmental data

- Participation in urban land-use planning, building permit procedures and property enquiries¸ Monitoring the implementation of measures

- Preparation of or participation in sectoral specialist planning and collaboration on urban development and environmental framework planning and concepts via specialist contributions

- Preparation and implementation of information and participation events for the active involvement of citizens in planning processes in various planning phases

- Support for planning offices



Your qualifications:



- A university degree with a "Master's/Diploma (TU/TH)" or a comparable qualification, preferably in one of the following disciplines Landscape planning/landscape conservation or comparable

- Sound specialist knowledge, confident application of legal principles

- Ability to work in a team, initiative and communication skills, economic thinking, organizational skills and negotiating skills

- Willingness to acquire specialist knowledge

- Sound knowledge of MS Office and good knowledge of CAD

- Screen capability



The following are also desirable:



- Administrative experience

- Experience in public relations, presentations and project management
