What you bring with you:

- Degree in landscape conservation, landscape planning or landscape ecology (FH diploma/bachelor's/master's degree) or a comparable qualification

- Understanding of planning contexts and good knowledge of the local fauna and flora

- Knowledge of current European and German nature conservation law, as well as the various funding programs and guidelines, knowledge of public procurement law or the implementation of landscaping projects or willingness to qualify accordingly is desirable

- Strong willingness to work independently, cooperatively and in a goal-oriented manner

- High level of responsibility and decision-making ability

- Ability to work under pressure and competent appearance, as well as communication skills and ability to work in a team

- IT skills in MS Office and preferably in the GIS geoinformation system

- Class B driving license and willingness to use a private car for business trips against reimbursement of travel expenses



Your tasks:

- Implementation of legally binding landscape plans in cooperation with the district municipalities and the owners involved

- Implementation of contractual nature conservation measures, including the recruitment and support of interested parties

- Advising citizens and institutions on the implementation of national and international nature conservation funding programs

- Care and maintenance of natural monuments in the district

- Support and development of the district's own natural areas (forest, grassland, etc.)

- Support in the development, preparation and updating of landscape plans



Remuneration:

Remuneration is according to E 11 TVöD. If the requirements under civil service and career law are met, a salary in accordance with A 11 LBesG NRW is envisaged.



General conditions:

The position is to be filled part-time with 19.5 hours per week. It is initially limited to two years.
