At the Office for Landscape Conservation and Green Spaces, we are looking for an engineer or landscape planner or architect (m/f/d) for strategic green development in the field of green planning for a limited period of 2 years with immediate effect.



The City of Cologne's Office for Landscape Conservation and Green Spaces manages an extensive urban green area with numerous parks and around 4,000 hectares of forest land with around 850 employees in various employment groups. In addition, 55 cemeteries are operated in the city of Cologne.



YOUR FUTURE TASKS:

You...



- take on the project control and project management of green projects

- contribute to the application for funding for the implementation of overarching and strategic green projects

- draw up contractual agreements including award procedures

- are responsible for project planning in accordance with HOAI (work phases 1 to 5)

- answer inquiries from political bodies and citizens and take on necessary field service appointments

- take part in project meetings and assume project-related financial responsibility and public relations work





YOUR PROFILE:

You have a degree (at least a university of applied sciences diploma or bachelor's degree) in landscape architecture, landscape conservation, open space planning, open space, landscape construction and green space management or a comparable field of study.

- have knowledge in the areas of HOAI (fee structure for architects and engineers), DIN standards, EU standards, regulations, public procurement law and can apply these and other legal principles accordingly

- have good communication, conflict resolution and argumentation skills and enjoy working independently and demonstrate organizational and negotiation skills through a goal-oriented approach

- are committed, self-reflective and have a high degree of independence and initiative and recognize the need for action

- have a high sense of responsibility and strong cooperation skills

- have digital skills and experience in using the Geographic Information System (GIS) and AutoCAD and are confident in using standard Microsoft Office applications

- have gender competence and a commitment to diversity

The position with the City of Cologne is permanent.

The position is valued according to pay group 11 of the collective agreement for the public service (TVöD).

The salary range in pay group 11 (TVöD-VKA) is between € 4,032.38 (experience level 1) and € 5,975.19 (experience level 6).
