ABOUT US



HafenCity Hamburg GmbH is the municipal company responsible for the management of the major urban development projects HafenCity, Grasbrook, Billebogen and Science City Hamburg Bahrenfeld. HafenCity and the neighboring Grasbrook, one of the largest inner-city development areas in Europe, are creating completely new, benchmark-setting innovation districts with an urban and maritime mix of services, housing, education, leisure, retail, culture and commerce on over 220 hectares. With the 95-hectare Billebogen urban development area, new types of urban commercial and service areas for innovative production and services are being realized in a centrally located and heterogeneously used environment. With Science City Hamburg Bahrenfeld, an urban quarter with science-oriented public uses, business locations, housing and other services is being created in connection with the existing science cluster consisting of DESY and the university campus.



YOUR TASKS



- Planning, development and realization of public open spaces within the HafenCity and Billebogen urban development projects



- Technical involvement in infrastructure measures of other specialist disciplines (in particular road planning) and private building construction projects



- Management of external service companies (project management, planning offices, construction companies across all HOAI service phases



- Independent communication and close cooperation with the responsible authorities, project partners and other stakeholders



- Controlling and monitoring of profitability and risks in the projects



YOUR PROFILE



- Completed degree in landscape architecture, civil engineering, environmental engineering or a comparable degree



- Interest in working on challenging, exciting and future-oriented open space and urban development concepts



- Experience in working with public administration and knowledge of administrative processes an advantage



- Structured and solution-oriented approach to complex tasks



- Conceptual and implementation strength as well as goal and result orientation as a decisive determinant of work behavior



- Negotiating skills and a high level of cooperation and communication



- Very good written and spoken German
