At the Faculty of Architecture, Institute of Landscape Architecture, the Chair of

Landscape Architecture, subject to available funds, as of 16.03.2025 a position as

scientific (m/f/d) (if the personal requirements are met E 13 TV-L) until 15.03.2029 (employment period according to WissZeitVG), with 50% of the regular weekly working hours and the goal of own scientific qualification (i.e. further qualification). Further qualification (usually doctorate), to be filled.



Tasks: The area of responsibility includes collaboration in teaching and research at the Chair of Landscape Architecture, which focuses on the creative process from the planning idea to the realization of outdoor spaces. Other tasks include dealing with different methodological approaches to finding feasible and sustainable detailed and material solutions. The focus here is on the resource-conserving use of materials, climate-resilient and water-sensitive construction methods and the definition of use-dependent quality features.

Prerequisites: wiss. University degree in landscape architecture or an equivalent course of study as well as sound knowledge of the design process from idea development to implementation, e.g. proven by at least two years of professional experience outside the university. Sound knowledge of resource-conserving and climate-resilient concepts and realizations is desirable. An independent and cooperative way of working as well as very good knowledge of digital presentation media are expected.
