Job Description

The large district town of Böblingen, with over 51,000 inhabitants, is an economically strong and attractive town which, as a medium-sized center in the Stuttgart region, has very good public transport connections. Böblingen's municipal administration covers a wide range of tasks with the aim of serving the common good for its citizens. We are looking for a temporary position until 31.07.2026 in the Civil Engineering and Green Spaces Office, Department of Environment and Green Spaces as soon as possible



Engineer or technician (m/f/d) full-time



Performance-related remuneration up to pay group 11 TVöD (if you have the appropriate qualifications)



Your tasks:

 Processing maintenance assignments to restore the road safety of play areas and public green spaces

 Evaluation of playground inspections (daycare centers and schools)

 Support with planning activities in the area of public green spaces, especially in outdoor areas of schools, daycare centers and playgrounds

 Awarding, monitoring and invoicing of renovation and maintenance measures in public green spaces, in particular at schools, daycare centers and playgrounds



We reserve the right to assign further tasks or change the scope of duties





Your profile:

 Completed studies (Dipl.-Ing., Bachelor, Master) in the field of landscape architecture or

State-certified technician, master craftsman in gardening and landscaping or a comparable qualification

 Practical experience in construction management, knowledge in the technical-constructive field

 Knowledge of specialist standards (DIN, VOB, VOL), specialist knowledge of playground standards is an advantage

 Negotiation skills, confident manner, independent and interdisciplinary work

 Personal initiative as well as team and communication skills

 Good written and verbal communication skills

 Class B driving license
