- You will be involved in the installation of the measurement technology and monitor its function.
- In addition to determining the irrigation requirements, you will measure the success of the irrigation and compare the actual water supply with mathematical models based on weather data and an existing irrigation app.
- You will take soil samples to analyze material loads and determine the soil water content.
- You will evaluate the collected test data, transfer it to suitable IT systems and discuss it with project partners.
- As a contact person on site, you will establish and maintain contact with other research and teaching institutions, associations, consultants and companies with the aim of promoting the transfer of knowledge into practice.
- You will present the results at specialist events and in specialist journals in consultation with the project partners.
Your profile:
- You have a university degree (Bachelor or Diplom/FH) in landscape architecture, horticulture and landscaping, horticulture or biology or a comparable subject
or you have further training as a master gardener or technician (m/f/d)
- You have a sound knowledge of construction and vegetation technology and are interested or already have experience in the field of horticultural experimentation, data acquisition and evaluation.
- You are no stranger to working with plants and methods for analyzing their site conditions and are willing to transfer these methods to the specifics of the project.
- You combine a high level of commitment with resilience and time flexibility.
- You are characterized by independent and autonomous work in a team.
- Confident handling of MS Office programs is a matter of course for you.
- You also have a class B driving license.
Our offer:
- We offer full-time employment limited until 30.06.2027 (currently 40 hours per week).
- A pay scale based on the collective agreement for the public service of the federal states (TV-L) and the tasks assigned up to pay group 11 TV-L.
- Collectively agreed benefits such as an additional pension scheme and annual bonus payment.
- Good work-life balance thanks to flexible working hours and the option to work partly outside the office (home office).
- An interesting, versatile and varied job in a collegial working atmosphere.
- A modern, well-equipped workplace surrounded by attractively designed outdoor facilities.
- Catering options in the in-house canteen.
- Modern mobility options such as a discounted job ticket.
- Free parking on the company premises and use of the e-charging station.
