The Green and Open Space Planning department in the Green Division has around 16 employees working on the broad spectrum of landscape architecture in public open spaces and on public buildings in the city of Wolfsburg. We are looking for you for the planning of public open spaces in the city of Wolfsburg in all service phases, applying innovative measures for climate protection and climate resilience as well as social requirements for public (open) spaces and for the recreational function and open space qualities:



Graduate engineer (m/f/d), Bachelor's / Master's degree in landscape conservation / landscape architecture open space planning and new construction



Wolfsburg | at the earliest possible date | permanent | full or part-time | up to E11 TVöD



Your activities:

- Planning and realization of public open spaces in all service phases of the HOAI, in particular:

o Open spaces for daycare centers, schools, youth centers and playgrounds

o roadside greenery

o Public green spaces in existing and new construction areas

o Planting plans and material concepts

o Open space concepts

o Collaboration in the implementation of compensation and replacement measures

- Further development of landscape architecture approaches with regard to rainwater management, climate protection and climate change adaptation, social requirements for public (open) spaces

- Commissioning and supervision of planning offices and specialist planning

- Construction management and supervision of the companies involved in the construction

- Monitoring the corresponding project budgets



You bring with you:

- Completed studies - Dipl.-Ing., Bachelor / Master of Engineering or Science - Landscape Conservation, Landscape Architecture or comparable studies

- Preferably professional experience in the service profile of outdoor facilities § 39 HOAI

- Creativity and enthusiasm for complex issues

- Cooperation and communication skills, team orientation and a structured way of working

- Experience in municipal work structures is desirable
