On Monday, 4 September 2017, the half-day specialist seminar "Green, ceramics, law - spatial concepts and materials for planning private gardens" will be held at SpogaGafa.

Ulmer Verlag with its trade journals Gartenpraxis and DEGA Galabau, together with the SpogaGafa trade fair and the bdla, invite landscape architects and contractors to Cologne. Five top-class speakers will give lectures on planning and building outdoor kitchens and on designing with plants, trees and ceramic coverings in the garden.

The event will kick off at 12.30 p.m. with a talk by Michael Kupka from Kupkagarten in Waiblingen on planning outdoor kitchens. This lecture will take place in Hall 8 at Stand A20. In line with the lecture, there will also be a lunch snack for the participants.

At 2 p.m., the event will continue in Hall 10.2. The first lecture will be given from 2 p.m. by garden designer Petra Hirsch from Niedernhausen, who won this year's "Gardens of the Year" competition. In her show of work, she will explain above all how she uses trees, shrubs and perennials to give gardens a special atmosphere.

Afterwards, Piet Werland, landscape architect and ö.b.v. expert from Emsdetten, will explain how which large-format slabs can be laid without defects and professionally, what has to be taken into account when selecting and ordering materials, which construction method is possible and sensible when, and when a special construction method is necessary and what it looks like.

Klaus Körber from the LWG Veitshöchheim will be dealing with trees and shrubs that can withstand climatic changes. He will present climate change-resistant trees and shrubs that are not yet so widespread in private gardens, but which can compete with the structure, leaf and flower splendour of classic garden plants.

The event will be concluded by Cologne-based lawyer André Bußmann from Bußmann
