The new model contract of the bdla for the contract design of open space planning is available.

It was developed by Dr. Sebastian Schattenfroh, legal advisor of the bdla, and the bdla working group on the law on contracts for work and services. It is the result of an intensive coordination process. The aim was to create a model that would be suitable for as many projects of bdla members as possible. Of course, it is not possible to do justice to every project in the same way; this is the characteristic and fate of every model contract.
The notes on use and the explanatory comments on the model contract are therefore recommended to all users. The new model contract is, thankfully, once again an impressive example of the perfect interplay of high professionalism and great voluntary commitment in the bdla.
Altogether four documents are offered. In addition to introductory notes on use, the following are available: 1) the model contract in fair copy, 2) a model contract with integrated comments for the user, 3) a "supplementary kit" for regulations that might be useful for more complex projects.
