The award honours forward-looking architectural concepts for sustainable building, the quality of which is characterised by the design and construction possibilities of natural stone.
Projects from the following categories can be submitted to the competition:
- Public buildings and commercial buildings (facades and interior fittings)
- Residential buildings (facades and interior fittings)
- Solid stone elements and building in the existing fabric (stone details, renovation and reconstruction)
- Landscaping and open space design (gardens, parks and squares)
The German Natural Stone Association is awarding the prize for the 19th time. The deadline for entries is 31 January 2020.
