Husqvarna 2020 funding competition

Green infrastructure, climate resilience, sponge city, larger green city surface, biodiversity or muticodation - all these terms are part of the current discussion on how cities can adapt to changing conditions to become sustainably future-proof.

What do these developments mean in concrete terms for urban greenery? How do the new conditions affect the concepts and projects of those responsible and involved?! How does good development succeed in the face of growing responsibilities and often stagnating budgets?

The aim of the III. Husqvarna funding competition "Successful green concepts in cities" 2019-2020 is to publicize best-practice examples that creatively meet these new challenges against the backdrop of climate change and urbanization. Participation in the competition is open to all cities and municipalities, housing and real estate companies, landscape architects and landscape gardeners.

The competition is looking for projects that have been implemented in the planning, maintenance and further development of exemplary municipal green spaces. The winner receives a prize money of 10,000 euro, the second to fifth in each case a material price. The bdla is a partner of the competition. The deadline for applications is June 12, 2020, 12:00 noon. The results of the 2020 funding competition will be presented at the GaLaBau 2020 trade fair in Nuremberg (September 16-19, 2020).
