The Deutsches Architekturmuseum DAM is planning an exhibition from 20 December 2020 to 2 May 2021 entitled"SIMPLE GREEN. Greening the city".

Can GREEN in architecture improve the climate in cities, reduce heat build-up, reduce particulate matter and increase people's well-being? Rarely have green spaces been in such demand as they have been since the confrontation with Corona. It is time to develop architecture with green spaces in mind, to upgrade urban landscapes and to break GREEN down into more than just ecological aspects.

The exhibition will be dedicated to the benefits and challenges of urban GREEN - especially greening houses and roofs in existing and new buildings. In addition to the scientific perspective, the exhibition will also focus on the technical possibilities and practical issues. Among other things, successful green buildings from Düsseldorf to Milan to Singapore will be shown, as well as tried-and-tested and completely new developments.

Even before the exhibition begins, the DAM is calling for submissions of projects.
