Once again this year, the AHO, VBI and the Federal Chamber of Engineers are calling on people to take part in the current survey on the economic situation of engineering and architectural offices in Germany. The survey is conducted by the Institute for Liberal Professions (IFB). The survey takes about 10 - 15 minutes to complete. The evaluation of the survey provides important information on the economic performance of the industry and flows into the lobbying work of chambers and associations.

In addition, planning offices are asked to participate in the further survey "Evaluation for projects according to HOAI 2013". Important findings are to be derived from the data of concretely billed projects in order to gain arguments for the necessary adjustment of the fee scales in the course of a genuine amendment of the HOAI, which is being sought by chambers and associations of architects and engineers in the next legislative period.
