On January 31, 2022, Berthold Stückle, landscape architect bdla, passed away at the age of 57 after a short serious illness.

A native of Swabia, Häffner has devoted most of his professional life to garden shows. He has worked for state garden shows since the 1980s, and in 2001 for the first time at a national garden show, BUGA Potsdam 2001. In 2011, he joined BUGA Koblenz as technical director, and later became authorized signatory and technical director of BUGA Heilbronn 2019. On January 1, 2021, a professional dream came true: Berthold Stückle was entrusted with the management of the 2029 National Garden Show in the Upper Middle Rhine Valley.
