On the evening of May 13, 2022, the honors in the 15th year of the German Landscape Architecture Award competition will be presented at the Allianz Forum at the Brandenburg Gate.
This event, to which the organizers and sponsors again expect around 400 guests, is the highlight of the event and at the same time the crowning conclusion of this year's competition. Starting at 6:15 p.m., the first prize and nine awards will be presented, and the "showcase" of German landscape architecture will be newly "decorated" with high-quality, innovative projects that have attracted national and international attention and that symbolize the range of tasks of the profession.
The evening event will be hosted by Dr. Anne Schmedding, Head of Foundation Projects at Stiftung Berliner Leben. We are looking forward to the Federal Minister for Housing, Urban Development and Construction Klara Geywitz, who will address all guests in the Rotunda as the patron of the competition. The keynote address will be given by Dr. Margot Käßmann, theologian and multiple book author, Hanover.
The ceremony and spring festival will once again be a meeting point for award winners and honorees, developers and competition participants, landscape architects and those who want to become one, guests and their companions.
Projects "to go", awarded and nominated, - that's possible! On the occasion of the award ceremony, the bdla will publish the 2021 competition documentation, which will be available hot off the press at the Allianz Forum that evening.
We look forward to seeing you there.
