In view of the central importance of land for building culture and social cohesion, the Alliance considers the establishment of a Bundestag commission of inquiry to be a priority.
In the view of the Alliance, the statements made in the coalition agreement fall short of a social and ecological land and urban development policy. By involving many stakeholders and experts, an Enquete Commission offers the opportunity to develop urgently needed concrete and creative solutions.
The non-partisan alliance of organizations from the fields of architecture, urban and spatial planning, environment and nature conservation, among others, including the bdla, has joined forces in 2020 to campaign for a public welfare-oriented land policy.
