Until January 31, 2023, projects and concepts can be submitted to the following four categories within the New European Bauhaus (NEB) initiative:

- Return to nature

- Recovery of the sense of belonging

- Priority for places and people with support needs

- Requiring long-term life-cycle thinking of industrial ecosystems.

In each of the four categories, there are three other parallel areas of competition. These are A: existing projects, B: young talent under 30, and C: education and learning initiatives. The aim is to demonstrate how the project creatively implements the principles of the NEB (sustainability, inclusion, aesthetics and quality of experience). One winner will be selected in each category and competition area. Prize money of max. 30,000 € will be offered.
