On the evening of September 15, 2023, the honors in the 16th year of the German Landscape Architecture Award competition will be presented at the Allianz Forum at the Brandenburg Gate.
This event, to which the organizers and sponsors again expect around 400 guests, is the highlight of the event and at the same time the crowning conclusion of this year's competition. Starting at 6 p.m., the first prize and nine awards will be presented, and the "showcase" of German landscape architecture will be newly "decorated" with high-quality, innovative projects that have attracted national and international attention and that symbolize the range of tasks of the profession.
Dr. Anne Schmedding, Stiftung Berliner Leben, will lead through the evening event. On behalf of the patroness, Federal Minister of Construction Klara Geywitz, MinDir Dietmar Horn, Head of Department Urban Development/Rural Planning in the Federal Ministry of Housing, Urban Development and Construction, will welcome the guests.
The ceremony and summer festival will once again be a meeting point for the award winners and those who have received awards, for representatives of the building owners and participants in the competition, for landscape architects and those who would like to become landscape architects, and for guests of the bdla.
Projects "to go", awarded and nominated, - there are! Hot off the press for the awards ceremony will be the 2023 competition documentation, which will be available in the Allianz Forum that evening.
