Callwey Verlag has organized the GÄRTEN DES JAHRES competition for the tenth time. Together with its partners, including the bdla, the media company is looking for the best private gardens designed by landscape architects, gardeners and landscapers in German-speaking countries. For the first time, the Newcomer of the Year award will be presented to young offices (not founded before 2021).

Several projects can be submitted - until July 18, 2024. The submission fee per project is 190.00 euros. The award ceremony will take place on February 18, 2025 at Ebben Nurseries in Cuijk, the Netherlands. The 50 best gardens will be published in a comprehensive illustrated book by Callwey Verlag and presented in an exhibition.

The submitted works will be judged by an independent jury, in which Irene Burkhardt, landscape architect from Munich, will participate on behalf of the bdla.
