With the participation of several young offices, students and numerous interested landscape architects, "FRISCHGRÜN - Exhibition of Young Landscape Architecture" opened on June 20, 2024. The competition launched by the AG Junge Landschaftsarchitekt:innen with the following exhibition at the State Garden Show in Kirchheim presents eleven young landscape architecture firms, their projects, their motivation and the makers behind them.

The vernissage was preceded by a LAwalks by bdla Bayern through the Landesgartenschau grounds - led by the managing director of the Landesgartenschau, Maximilian Heyland, and Klaus Schroll from SINAI, Gesellschaft von Landschaftsarchitekten mbH, Berlin. They introduced the participants to the concept with its five spheres of meadow, forest, water, wilderness and garden - an all-round successful show, everyone agreed.

Afterwards, Franz Reschke, member of the bdla executive committee and active in the Young Landscape Architecture working group, welcomed everyone to the FRISCHGRÜN opening and, together with Doris Grabner, board member and head of the bdla Bavaria Economy working group, moderated a discussion with representatives from five of the exhibiting offices.

The diversity and range of smaller, agile and specialized offices remains important for the entire landscape architecture scene, as Doris Grabner summarized at the end.

The eleven offices presented at FRISCHGRÜN are:

  • Horeis BlattLandschaftsarchitekten, Bremen (Matthias Kläser)
  • landschaft ID GmbH, Nuremberg (Sven-Marvin Sommer, Daniel Theidel, Friedrich von Roth, Kilian Bosch)
  • Lohrengel Landschaft, Berlin (Mania Lohrengel)
  • NUWELA, Munich (Michael Wenzel, Julian Numberger, Lara Brezing, Pia Winder, Phi Long Ngo)
  • Parzelle X - Office for Landscape Architecture and Nature Education, Berlin (Katharina Böhme, Lulu Dombois)
