In the BETON'T GRÜN seminar room, the public relations spokespersons were warmly welcomed to Heilbronn by Michael Hink and Ulrike Luz from bdla Baden-Württemberg on 11 May 2019.
In addition to the remarks on the engine of urban development for the city on the Neckar, the BUGA Heilbronn, both informed about projects of the state group public relations. With the event series "Heute im Facetten-Reich" (Today in the Facetted Realm) at the BUGA, the state association links expert knowledge with professional know-how and illuminates current topics of the day in a "melange queerbeet" with illustrious guests from the profession, society and economy.
They will also present the online salon "Landscape Architecture Today", where BUGA visitors can call up information on the young talent competition at two outdoor pads in the garden and surf through the bdla's exhibition of numerous contemporary landscape architecture projects.
The speakers critically dealt with the product Garden Worlds, which in its form and characteristics (Open Gardens, Hamburg Green Tones, Dresden Garden Walks, ...) continues to exist, but should be replaced in priority by state and nationwide activities for the attention-grabbing "climate change". A corresponding paper was prepared by Bernd Waldvogel and Markus Schäf and confirmed by the speakers.
The quality check and, if necessary, updating of the clusters Private Gardens, Developing Landscape and Urban Places has been carried out. The comments and suggestions made by Katrin Schube and Bernd Waldvogel, Cordula Wengemuth and Michael Mäurer as well as Jutta Sankowski and Jessica Schütte were passed on to the Federal Office for implementation. Markus Schäf suggested developing two new clusters; school/schoolyards and play (playgrounds Kita) and agreed to coordinate this. The next meeting will be held on 22 November 2019 in Berlin.
