Young Landscape Architects Workshop and 12th bdla Business Forum on 2 and 3 March 2020 in Kassel.

The first Young Landscape Architecture Workshop will take place on Monday, 2 March 2020. The four-hour seminar will focus on the importance of profitability, efficiency and strategic business orientation and the joint exchange of experiences.

Edgar Haupt, Dipl.-Ing. in the field of architecture and certified coach, from Cologne will speak. In his remarks he will deal with the topic "Young and independent. Planning office 2030". How do you have to position yourself for the future, what and how to learn from each other in order to profit from each other.

At the bdla Business Forum 2020 on Tuesday, 3 March 2020, in Kassel, the focus will be on current challenges facing planning offices: challenging award culture, helpful controlling, necessary supplementary management, mandatory safety requirements.

In the first part of the event, Dr. Sebastian Schattenfroh, legal advisor of the bdla, will address current issues of public procurement. Tailored to the practice of landscape architects, various sub-topics such as the different types of procedure, e-tendering and EEE form, but also the correct approach to the tasks are put up for discussion.

In the second part, practitioners describe the approach to relevant subtasks of successful office management. In addition to controlling, supplementary management is presented. Last but not least, an expert will shed light on the cyber-knock-out of a planning office.

In addition to the lectures, collegial exchange of ideas is a high priority at the events. Workshop and economic forum are information and discussion offers of the bdla - open for all economically thinking and acting in planning offices and authorities.
