7th bdla Plant Planner Talks on 18 and 19 September 2024 in Munich

Climate change is increasing the demand for sustainable and climate-resilient open spaces. The use of plants is therefore often in an exciting phase of upheaval that is turning conventional aesthetics on their head.

The 7th bdla Plant Planner Talks on September 18 and 19, 2024 in Munich will focus on current trends in the use of plants:
- urban nature concepts,
- tree care,
- microforests and
- climate adaptation in historic green spaces.

The program will be supplemented by current research results, e.g. on fire protection in façade greening.

An interesting excursion program on Thursday, 19 September 2024, following the lectures to the Weihenstephan Gardens, the Prinz-Eugen-Park in Munich and the local park at the Kirchheim State Garden Show complete the training program.

The event is aimed at landscape architects in planning offices and authorities as well as specialists in gardening and landscaping and the tree nursery industry. Recognition as further training has been applied for from the North Rhine-Westphalia Chamber of Architects.
