The State Garden Show Öhringen was very successful in the 2016 event year with over 2 million visitors and now serves as the starting point and excellent backdrop for this year's "Hohenloher Land" bike excursion.

For the "Welcome Evening" we invite the participants who arrive already on the evening before the excursion to a tour "1 year after the State Garden Show". The common dinner (self-payment principle) with the star cook Serkan Günzelcoban in the restaurant Kleinod in the Orangerie in the court garden offers palate joys with large benefit!

The excursion offers a very nice overview of the topography and charm of the Hohenlohe landscape on the round tour on Saturday.

The route, which is challenging in every respect, leads in three stages from Öhringen via Kupferzell to Künzelsau and through the Kocher valley via Ohrnberg on the new Ohrntal cycle path back to the starting point.

Along the route, very different projects from the fields of landscape architecture, landscape planning and environmental construction supervision as well as urban planning and redevelopment will be visited. The landscape architects and urban planners involved in the planning and implementation of the projects will give presentations and explanations on site.

The physical well-being is provided! The region also has attractive places to stop for lunch and refreshments in the afternoon.

Cycling tour
Route length: approx. 65 kilometres - route profile: total of approx. 450 metres in altitude. Participants should take sufficient provisions and drinks with them and remember to wear suitable and weatherproof clothing.

Participation is at your own risk, the liability for accidents is not assumed by the organizer, bdla Baden- Württemberg e.V..
With the registration the participant commits himself to wear a helmet during the bicycle tour.
The bdla reserves the right to exclude persons without helmets from the tour without refunding the participation fee.

Further training
Participation in the event will be recognised for members and AiP of the Baden-Württemberg Chamber of Architects AKBW for the disciplines of landscape architecture and urban planning
with 2 further training hours.
