International Symposium 24.10.-25.10.2018, 09.00 a.m.
Montforthaus Feldkirch (Austria)
Urban growth, redensification and the simultaneous desire for smart and energy-efficient urban development require more than ever a focus on biodiversity, climate change adaptation and quality of life. The international symposium explores needs and strategies, presents forward-looking and innovative projects and facilitates a transdisciplinary exchange of knowledge and experience for experts and users from the fields of architecture, landscape architecture, urban planning, spatial planning, the construction industry and ecology.
With the symposium we open the space for new and proven ideas. They will show how to build with and for nature and also how to generate diverse, positive effects on us humans. The event aims to provide new food for thought, to encourage the implementation of good projects and to show ways in which these can be realised.
"natur vielfalt bauen" promotes and strengthens the transdisciplinary exchange of information and experience for experts and users in the Lake Constance region. The aim of this constantly growing pool of knowledge is to provide sustainable impulses for ecological settlement development and to form a common strategy. Nature in settlement areas means enabling resilience to climate change, preserving and creating diversity.
