The bdla Baden-Württemberg cordially invites you to this year's summer bicycle excursion in the context of the Remstal Garden Show 2019:

The varied valley and hilly landscape offers endless possibilities with wonderful views to explore the Rems Valley by bike. The Remstal cycle path has been extended and expanded to a total of 106 km. It leads from Weinstadt-Endersbach to the mouth of the Rems to Remseck am Neckar and from there along the Rems to Essingen and on to the Roman town of Aalen. Cyclists are guided by new ground markings consisting of "Remswellen" (Rems waves) and kilometre markings.

The excursion leads on a partial route of a total of max. 40 kilometres (without return journey - the return journey by public transport - S-Bahn - is possible) from Fellbach to Schorndorf to projects which were planned and implemented by our members within the framework of the Remstal Garden Show. The varied pallet reaches from the perennial planting over the organization of view points, new parks, the reorganization of existing plants up to the watercourse renaturation. The landscape architects provide information on site at the project, give background information on the planning processes and explain technical and construction details.

On the cycle path it goes along the Rems and between the stages in the Einkehrschwung to rest in one of the many beer gardens
