The Association of German Landscape Architects declares its deepest regret about the war in Ukraine, the loss of human lives and condemns this attack which is contrary to international law. Our thoughts are especially with the colleagues of our partner association Guild of Landscape Architects of Ukraine.

The bdla offers itself - as well as other member organizations of IFLA Europe - as a contact point and first point of contact for Ukrainian colleagues. The impetus for this was given by IFLA Europe President Katerina Gkoltsiou with her call for solidarity.

The offer of help includes, among other things, assistance in finding jobs and in registering with a national chamber of architects, a free advertisement on the bdla's job and internship exchange, and information for students who want to continue their studies in Germany.

BAK seeks accommodation for refugees

The German Federal Chamber of Architects and the 16 chambers of architects in the German states have launched an initiative to provide sleeping accommodations for refugees. If you can offer assistance, please contact them at https://bak.de/stand-with-ukraine/.

If you would like to help with monetary donations, we refer to the "Emergency Aid Ukraine":
