Seminar content
In urban development and in the design of urban open spaces, landscape architecture and the competence of plant use are increasingly coming into focus due to advancing climate change, the increasing scarcity of space due to sealing, water shortages and simultaneous heavy rainfall events. The building material "plant" offers the profession a rich "toolbox" that enables resource-saving and care-adapted solutions in line with the location and intended use.

As part of the Wangen 2024 State Garden Show, experts will give talks on current developments in the use of plants and perennials from various perspectives. The plant itself and in particular the variety of perennials and grasses as a stylistic device for atmosphere, composition, form, texture, color, fragrance and design will not be neglected. In the final guided tour of the LGS Wangen 2024 site, the planners will present their implemented show plant concepts and answer questions about the planting and care of these examples, which are sure to be richly blooming.

Inspection and practical in-depth exploration of the Landesgartenschau site
After the presentations, the various topics will be explored in greater depth in a smaller specialist group, depending on professional interests.
