Berlin/Brandenburg

At the end of 2018, the bdla Berlin/Brandenburg took an in-depth look at the school construction programme of the state of Berlin and formed a working group for this purpose.

On the basis of the position paper of the Berlin Chamber of Architects as well as the standards for school construction and other documents of the Senate, a position paper was developed for this purpose.

The bdla Berlin/Brandenburg is firmly convinced that the school construction program of the state of Berlin urgently needs adequate consideration of school open spaces and schoolyards in order to be truly successful and sustainable! With relatively small means for the school open spaces one can noticeably increase the acceptance with pupils, the teaching staff as well as with the residents and at the same time achieve important course settings for building culture, urban nature and quarters!
