The board of the Berlin-Brandenburg regional group has taken up its business in a new form and met for its constituent meeting at the Mittenwalde office.
Already on September 12, this year's general meeting of the bdla Berlin-Brandenburg took place under Corona conditions at Café Paresüd in the Schöneberger Südgelände Nature Park. In addition to an extensive agenda with discussion of the budget and activities of the regional group, welcoming new members and honoring long-standing members, elections were held for a new deputy chair and the position of managing director.
Anna Dierking was elected as new deputy chairperson and Karsten Standke was confirmed as managing director for another 3-year term. Thus the two complement the team around the chairman Eike Richter and the two further deputy chairmen Philipp Sattler and Astrid Zimmermann.
Anna Dierking, M.Sc. Landscape Architecture, works as a team and project manager for HAHN HERTLING VON HANTELMANN Landscape Architects. After her studies in Hanover and Berlin she worked in different landscape architecture offices in Berlin. In addition to landscape architecture, she is passionate about topics such as team development and change management and is pleased to be able to contribute her expertise in these areas to the board.
Anna Dierking succeeds Britta Deiwick, who did not stand for re-election. Britta Deiwick will remain on the extended board and will continue to support the board in the area of landscape planning. The board thanks Britta Deiwick for her many years of dedicated work and looks forward to further cooperation.
Karsten Standke was re-elected as managing director and member of the board. Together with his colleague Susann Pitschel, he forms the backbone of the board in the Mittenwalde office and brings his special knowledge of economics and contract design to the board.
With a view to the new, rejuvenated board and the very positive development in the number of members, state chairman Eike Richter is pleased with "the good mix of members", both new and long-standing, young and experienced as well as freelance and employed members. According to the chairman, this is the strength of the regional group and makes it possible to look optimistically into the future.
