The loss of biological diversity is one of the great challenges of our time. The question of how we can better coexist with other living creatures in the future in the Anthropocene era moves science, politics and society. Cities are gaining in importance as habitats for animals and plants.

In principle, the profession of landscape architects and landscape planners has the appropriate repertoire to make cities greener and more 'livable' for animals.

With the increasing specialization in landscape architecture and landscape planning, there is a need for more knowledge exchange again. Let's pool knowledge on how to strengthen biodiversity promotion in practice.
