The National Group cordially invites you to the 2nd General Meeting 2018.

It will take place on:

Monday, November 26, 2018, at 6:00 p.m.
in the University Guest House (Berliner Zimmer),
Rothenbaumchaussee 34, 20148 Hamburg.

Among other things, elections of the chair, the treasurer and an assessor are on the agenda.

We are particularly pleased to have won Dr. Poppendieck (former University of Hamburg, 1st chairman of the Botanical Association of Hamburg, member of the Nature Conservation Council of Hamburg) for a lecture on developments and coordination for the establishment of a 'Hamburg Plant Cadastre'.

Certainly all planning offices already have the new edition of the 'Hamburg Plant Atlas' with 1000 distribution maps of the flora of Hamburg on their shelves and are working with it. The knowledge about the species occurrences in Hamburg is a valuable help for object planning and landscape planning with different questions. No other major German city has a similarly detailed record of Hamburg's natural and culturally-urban flora.
