The challenges of surface drainage and stormwater management in post-densified cities are becoming ever greater. More frequent heavy rainfall events due to climate change exacerbate the problem.
The event will visit projects in the Eimsbüttel and Hamburg-Nord districts on the topic of receiving and retention areas in Hamburg by bicycle.
Speakers from the water management departments as well as the engineering and landscape architecture offices involved will lead and discuss the topic with us from the point of view of the interdisciplinary interacting object and landscape planning.
