This year's General Meeting will be held on Monday, November 07, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. on the first floor of the former Karstadt Sport building, Mönckebergstraße 2-4, 20095 Hamburg, Germany.

This special place will not only be used by us in November, but also by the Hamburg Building Culture Foundation under the motto "A Month of Building Culture" with various events throughout November. More information at www.hsbk.city.

We would like to take advantage of the occasion and the location to try out a new format following the classic agenda items, which are somewhat more limited this year due to the omission of board elections. We landscape architects are concerned with various questions to which we, as planners and designers, seek answers in the context of social, political or climatic conditions and changes. This is where we as bdla would like to pick up and initiate a series of talks that takes up current discourses, but also sets new topics.

The first event will be a round table discussion with 4 colleagues from Hamburg on November 7. The topic will be: Sustainability in landscape architecture - Are we really as "green" as we think?

The detailed schedule of the evening can be found in the attachment. At present it is not yet foreseeable under which conditions the meeting planned as a presence event can take place. We as bdla will do what is necessary to ensure that it can be held safely and ask all participants to keep this in mind as well. We will inform you in good time if there are any fundamental changes to the format of the event.
