On 05.02.2018, the two boards of the regional associations of Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg met in Norderstedt to get to know each other for the first time.

The difficult search in Schleswig-Holstein for a new board for the elections to the general meeting in March, as well as the lack of capacity to organize the Malenter Runde 2017 and similar problems in the Hamburg regional association, gave rise to the idea of closer cooperation. This meeting was about finding out if and how a jointly organized event could look like.

The result of the very nice discussions was the composition of a working group, which deals with the organization of a joint day event with lectures in the morning, excursion in the afternoon and a nice get-together in the evening. This should take place in September. The content of the event will focus on the topic of the growing city. The working group will meet again on 19.03.2018 in Norderstedt in order to start the concrete planning.
