The bdla Schleswig-Holstein once again invites you to the Malenter Runde 2024 and is looking forward to an exciting exchange with all interested parties, this time on the topic "(No) experiments!".

In times of advancing climate change and species extinction, a lack of living space and dilapidated transport infrastructure, voices are becoming louder calling for faster action. Fast action also means fast planning and fast approval. What does this mean for landscape architects? Have we not done everything right in planning so far, is it just a problem of implementation? Isn't there also a risk that we will lose sight of the goal of social transformation due to all the acceleration? The German government is currently preparing a "Pact for Accelerating Planning, Approval and Implementation". The environmental associations have also already issued a recommendation on accelerating planning in 2022 from their perspective.

The Malenter Runde 2024 would like to approach the topic of planning and approval acceleration in the tried and tested form, from thinking outside the box to specific use cases. Among other things, AI will also have its say. And what about citizen participation in this context?
