Exclusively for the members of the bdla, the association's legal advisor Dr. Sebastian Schattenfroh has adapted the bdla's model contracts for open space planning, landscape planning services and subcontracting to the HOAI 2021.
They are the result of an intensive coordination process with committed members of the bdla.
More important than ever: clear fee agreements
The model contracts of the bdla are above all also an important instrument when it comes to clearly regulating the fee for planning services.
Already in the context of the online seminar of the bdla on the HOAI 2019 on 19.01.2021, Dr. Sebastian Schattenfroh made it clear that it is more important than ever to conclude clear fee agreements between client and contractor in text form. According to Dr. Schattenfroh, this is in the interest of both contractual partners, because clear relationships avoid disputes. Everyone must also be aware that there will no longer be any subsequent adjustments to the fee based solely on the minimum rate.
