On Friday, July 1, 2022 and Saturday, July 2, 2022, the city of Kassel and the bdla had invited to an excursion to the documenta city Kassel.

The city in northern Hesse will host documenta15 until September 25, 2022, curated by the artist collective ruangrupa from Jakarta, which has based the exhibition on the values and ideas of the lumbung (Indonesian term for a communally used rice barn), realized in all areas of the exhibition concept.

From the city center with the ruruHaus as the starting point and living room of documenta15, as well as the Fridericianum, documenta Halle and Museum für Sepulkralkultur, the world art exhibition extends across the Fulda to the east, to the so-called "workbench" of Kassel, and sets new impulses in a city district in transition.
