"Continue building, re-use and material cycles" is the theme of the 4th bdla Designer Days on October 7 and 8, 2022 in Berlin. Shortages of raw materials and materials, supply bottlenecks and global climate change require new concepts in building construction and open space planning.

The bdla Design Days are aimed at all those landscape architects who are active in design, i.e. in the HOAI service phases two to five of the object planning of open spaces. On the two days of the event, national and international speakers from the fields of landscape architecture, urban planning and architecture will present the complex of topics of sustainable material cycles, (further) construction in existing structures, precise minimal interventions and the first Cradle to Cradle concepts and discuss them in the context of a moderated quartet of designers on Friday.

An excursion on Saturday, October 8, 2022, to the area of the former Berlin Tegel Airport and the surrounding landscape space Tegeler Stadtheide under the motto "What comes, what stays, what goes?" will round off the program.
