The 24th GaLaBau trade fair will take place in Nuremberg from September 14 to 17, 2022. The bdla presents itself and the profession of landscape architects for the third time in a row at the leading international trade fair for planning, construction and maintenance of urban and green spaces at its own booth in Hall 3A.

On Wednesday, September 14, 2022, the bdla will present its latest publication "The Qualified Open Space Design Plan (FGP). A handout for planners and builders as well as recommendations for cities and municipalities".

In connection with the requirements for open spaces, which are becoming more complex due to climate change, and the diverse tasks in landscape architecture, the FGP is, from the point of view of the bdla, the suitable instrument in the building supervisory approval procedure, in order to consider the diverse open space concerns holistically and to bundle them in planning terms already at the beginning of the planning. In the brochure, the arguments for and the contents of the FGP's as well as recommendations for the application practice are clearly arranged. An appendix with checklist, exemplary balance tables and case studies complements the publication.

Tom Kirsten, bdla Fachsprecher building technology and Normenwesen, leads on this day together with three Referent:innen during the already traditional bdla building discussion by the "fabulous world of the sets of rules". At the half-day advanced training event, which is being held in cooperation with the BGL and the company Vestre, the focus will be on successful paths to the digital future of landscape architecture with BIM processes, the open space design plan, stairs in open spaces, and the development of a sustainable drainage construction method.

Thursday will end with a reception, to which bdla and NürnbergMesse invite you to the bdla stand in Hall 3A.

Best of landscape architecture regional - presented on Friday, September 16, by bdla Baden-Württemberg and bdla Bavaria. The two state associations provide insights into the results of their regional landscape architecture competitions.

On Saturday, the public day of the fair, the bdla presents its just published Pixi booklet "Landschaftsarchitektin Lena plans a park for all".

On 24 only 10 times 10 cm large sides the occupation of the Landschaftsarchitektin/des landscape architect is presented child-fairly and memorably and comprehensibly illustrated. The story is told of how gray infrastructure can be turned into green infrastructure, how a sealed parking lot can be turned into a green park for all generations. And all this thanks to the planning services of landscape architects.
