The six-member Presidium met once again virtually on 17.04.2021.
The thematic beginning of the intensive working session was a future amendment of the HOAI and the fundamental revision of the service profiles. Jens Henningsen will participate in a first workshop of all planners' associations on behalf of the bdla. A working group of the bdla is to accompany the topic in the medium term.
Irene Burkhardt informed about the results of the AG Klima. She explained a first module of a climate advanced training of the federal association ("test workshop") with 20-25 participants on 25.06.2021, which is prepared together with Prof. Pauleit (TU Munich). In preparation, around 20 freelance landscape architects were asked on which specific topics they see a need for further training and whether they are interested in participating in the climate training. Based on the results of the test workshop, a comprehensive further training programme is to be developed, which is to start in the current year if possible.
The election touchstones of the planning professions for the 2021 federal elections were also discussed, focusing on the areas of urban development and the environment, freelance work, building culture and digitalisation. Also on the initiative of the bdla, an election touchstone on climate-sensitive urban development by strengthening the urban green was included. The election touchstones will be sent to the party headquarters and the answers will be processed in a timely manner.
Complementary to this, the joint positions of the Initiative Grün with the Bundesverband Garten-, Landschafts- und Sportplatzbau BGL, the bdla, the Bund deutscher Baumschulen and the Zentralverband Gartenbau (Central Horticultural Association) for the 2021 federal election have now also been presented. Overall, the bdla thus has meaningful bases for its policy advice available.
